Qualified Athletes can register on Athletic.net. There is a non-refundable entry fee of $20 per individual which must be submitted online at the time of registration. Entries cannot be accepted by any other method. Late and onsite entries will not be accepted for this competition.

The 51st USATF Hershey National Junior Olympic Track & Field Championships will be held at Rock Chalk Park, the home of Kansas Track and Field, in Lawrence, Kansas. The USATF Junior Olympic Track & Field program is one of the most visible youth athletic development programs in the world. Many of today’s Olympic stars began their track and field careers competing in the USATF's Junior Olympic meets.
Nearly 10,000 athletes are expected to travel to Lawrence for the 2017 Championships. Entry is based on athlete performances at Preliminary, Association and Regional levels of the 2017 USATF Junior Olympic Program. Competition takes place in six (6) two-year age groups with athletes generally falling between the ages of 7 and 18.

AGE DIVISIONS & ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
Age Divisions 8 & under (born 2009 +) 9 - 10 (born 2007-2008) 11 - 12 (born 2005-2006) 13 - 14 (born 2003-2004) 15 - 16 (born 2001-2002) 17 - 18 (born 1999-2000)
- athletes born in 1998 are also eligible if they do not turn 19 on or before 7/30/2017
Individuals: Only U.S. citizens, aliens living in the United States and foreign exchange students are eligible to compete in these Championships. See the USATF Rules for more information and exceptions. A competitor must compete in his/her age division only. There will be no "moving up" in any events, including relays. Competitors in the 8 & Under, 9 - 10 and 11 - 12 age divisions may compete in a maximum of three (3) events, including relays. Competitors in the 13 - 14, 15 - 16 and 17 - 18 age divisions may compete in a maximum of four (4) events, including relays. Combined events are not included in the event count. All athletes must be 2017 members of USATF in good standing.
Relay Teams: Only registered 2017 USATF member clubs may enter a relay team(s). All athletes representing the club must be affiliated with and members of that club as part of their USATF membership. Visit www.usatf.org/membership.
Individual Entries: $7 per event Relay Entries: $28 per relay team Decathlon/Heptathlon: $20 per event (Decathlon is 1 event) Triathlon/Pentathlon: $15 per event (Triathlon is 1 event)

Valid 2017 USATF Membership and Proof of Birth is required for participation. Before registration, please ensure that the membership chair has received (via mail or fax) a copy of the athlete’s Proof of Birth (copy of birth certificate, passport, certified baptismal record, driver’s license or U.S. government identification). See Rule 300.1 (i) for further explanation.

ENTRY INFO: Entry fee is $10 an athlete and must be done in advance. No entry fee will be transferred or refunded. General admission is $5/person, under age 4 is free.
ENTRY PROCESS: Entries and changes can only be made on-line at www.coacho.com. At the conclusion of the entry process you will be required to pay your fees on-line. If you are unfamiliar with CoachO.com on-line meet entry process, click the Help button on the Main Menu and read the topic How to enter a meet. On-line meet entry will be available starting May 1ST until the deadline, June 8, 2017. Please be sure to put in times for your athlete(s) for proper seeding. A NM will put your athlete in an unseeded section.
EVENT INFORMATION: All events will be on a rolling schedule, All USATF track and field rules will be an effect 12 and under 3 events; 13/14 on up 4 events. This is an USATF Sanctioned meet. Athletes must have a wrist band to compete. Coaches must provide a current USATF card to get in free, have passed a background screening and taken the Safety Sports Training Course.
ELIGIBILITY: Open to any athlete that fall within the age divisions listed below and Open/ Master Level Athlete’s.

Welcome to The Cowtown® ! Thank you for choosing to run one of our great races, or challenging yourself with two. The Cowtown® is celebrating our 39th year as we welcome the world to Fort Worth. The Cowtown® offers a race distance for everyone including the Cook Children’s 5K, Adults 5K and 10K on Saturday and the Ultra Marathon presented by Miller Lite, Marathon and Half Marathon on Sunday. The entire family can participate either as a runner or a spectator cheering along the route. Ambitious runners can take The Cowtown® Challenge and run a race both days!
