The USATF Southwestern Officials will host a clinic for those individuals who would like to become a certified track and field official or would like to re-certify in the East Texas Area.

As of December 31, 2013 all current certified officials must renew your certification for the 2013/2016 Olympiad.

Time Commitment: Approximately 90 minutes Here’s what to do to attend:
Step 1: Notify Barbara Granberry at 903-570-3341 or 903-597-6841 no later than Wednesday, February 19th prior to the clinic

Step 2: IN ORDER TO GET CERTIFIED, YOU MUST HAVE A CURRENT USATF MEMBERSHIP PRIOR TO CERTIFICATION OR RECERTIFICATION.

   Membership is Mandatory for certification and the price starts at $30 for one year or $54 for the complete Olympiad  

You may also purchase a new USATF Membership number at the clinic (check or Visa only).

Step 3: Bring to the clinic A. Your 2014 USATF Membership Number B. $40 certification fee (Check Made to “SWTFOA”, or Exact Cash!) C. National & Master Level Officials: Bring the forms described on the next page *You must bring all of the above to the clinic or you will be unable to certify or recertify. Also be aware: A mandatory photo will be taken upon arrival at the clinic for your USATF OFFICIALS I.D. Badge.

If you have never been a Certified Official: It is strongly encouraged in an effort to ensure a fair and safe competitive environment. More and more track meets are favoring certified officials over uncertified.

It is a must to attend a clinic as all past certification levels will expire December 31, 2013, the end of this year. This clinic is for both new certifications and re-certifications. It is a must to renew memberships every year unless multiple years are purchased.
